How to fix fo2 fault code on a whirlpool duet front load washing machine, The whirlpool duet is one of the machines that have a main computer control that operate and monitor the functions of the machine,
This control is usually mounted behind the front panel,sometimes at the back or to the side, it also has a speed control board that is mounted on the bottom usually at the right side.
Whenever a problem accur there is a fault code displayed on the machine, there is a technician sheet with the fault codes on the machine, the technician can use this guide to go directly to the problem,
This f02 code mean there is a problem with the drain, there is a drain filter that sometimes get clogged with lint and other things,
Removing the kick plate and removing the drain access on the pump will reveal the drain filter, use a small bucket, and towels to catch the water that will be in the pump, after cleaning and re assemble the washing machine should work ok.

excellent. a lot more water than I expected.. next time will use a large lid and move the pump under.
the other thing that was needed was to push in the impeller a bit to get it to spin correctly again.
also make sure to line the filter up correctly; there is a little slot that needs to line up.
Took 15 minutes, removed a crazy amount of lint and coins,,,works awesome,,probably saved me a hundred bux or so on a service call
Took all but 15 minutes. Clogged like a sob. Nasty smelling clog but works great. Thanks
This was not aa hard fix. It did take me about 45 mins. I am not a very handy person, but I was able to do it myself.
