Electronic dishwasher models without a drain solenoid, the replacement mech, wd26x10013 has a drain solenoid while the original mech did not.

When replacing this motor assembly on models without a  drain solenoid, make sure the port is capped with the cap and clamp supplied in the kit.

Do not remove the drain solenoid bracket, if removed wash performance will be affected, the drain solenoid might not be needed, but the bracket provides an attachment point for the arm valve spring which must remain in place to keep the diverter valve against the drain port.
