 The shot spotter is an amazing new technology that is already been used in about forty six united states counties and cities, This is a gunshot location system, the system consists of cameras sensors and computers,

How the system works,whenever a gun is fired the sensors along with the computer analize the sound and verify this is indeed a gunshot,

Then is pinpoint the exact location and notify law enforcement in real time, this is so amazing to know that this technology is avaliable and in use, what i cannot understand is why this technology is not been used in NEW YORK CITY the five places in new york that the shot spotter is in use are--rochester--nassau county--troy--mount vernon--and yonkers.

I hope mayor bloomberg will do whatever is necessary to have the shot spotter in -MANHATTAN--STATEN ISLAND--QUEENS--BRONX--AND BROOKLYN.
