appliance repairs

In order for your appliance to work as designed, it must be connected to a power source, if it is an electrical appliance.

Some are operated by gas only, while others are operated by both gas and electricity, for example the very popular, spark ignition gas stove, the burners run on gas, electric is only used to create a spark when you first turn on a burner you will hear a (tick--tick) sound before the flame is lit.

The refrigerator however also use a different kind of gas, the right name for this gas is freon,it is pumped by the compressor through the sealed system, which includes, condenser, filter dryer, capillary tube, evaporator, and back to the compressor to complete the cycle.

The refrigerator will not work if it is not connected to the electrical supply, fuse and breakers overload all the time, they trip and blow out all the time, so if the refrigerator stop working for an extended period of time, the first thing you need to do is check to make sure there is power in the outlet that the refrigerator is pluged into, you might say everyone knows that already, thats what i thought, but two days after christmas, my first job was a tripped breaker, it's easy to check the outlet for power,

Plug in a lamp or a hair dryer in the outlet to check for power.
